Cartoons – Read This First

As I wrote in the mini art bio (see “By” on the menu line), when I retired from my work as a professor in a graduate school, a local businessman hired me to ghost-write a 400-page technical book for him.  To lighten up the text and to illustrate some of the points, I drew over 50 illustrations in a cartoon (but not necessarily humorous) style. Only a few of them are included in this gallery. I also drew a cartoon about my conversion story and one of my portraits was humorous. Drawing these cartoons got me hooked back into painting, something I hadn’t done in 25 years. I jumped back into art with both feet. Hope you enjoy these cartoon illustrations.
