My department (Family Relations) was housed in the College of Home Economics when I was teaching in the doctoral program at Oklahoma State University. (Yes, I got free sample knifes and deals on cookware!) The Dean invited me to submit an article for her national journal and I thought it would be fun to write one on family diversity around the world (my PhD specialty area). I didn’t expect it to be accepted for publication, but it was. I am only including a scan of the first page below – for space concerns.
