Daddy/Daughter Secret (Ellis)

This was such a fun photo of my son, Steve Ellis, and his sweet daughter, Sarah, that I just had to paint it for Daddy Steve’s birthday.
Below is the reference photo, which was taken at her brother’s wedding (July 2, 2020) and finished in August. We gave it to Steve just two days before Sarah’s own marriage, so it was a bitter-sweet moment for my son as he watched his daughter move on into married life.
Below are the two of them holding the painting. You can see what a sweet relationship the two of them share.
