Idaho Falls Temple

This painting was a gift to Alton and Denies Alexander. They were married in this building, the Idaho Falls Temple. They framed it with glass even though acrylics are not usually framed that way. You can see some glare on this photo of the painting. When Alton died, the painting was enthusiastically claimed by his son, Jay. Photos never do justice to the original paintings, and that is the case here. I have added a second photo below; you will immediately see the differences in the two photos, even though they are of the same painting.
