Miller’s Flour

by Godfrey J. Ellis

This cartoon illustrates diversity in business meetings. The book recommended that those wanting to join what is called a “networking group” visit at least six different networking groups before deciding which one to commit to.  I wrote that readers needed to make their choice with at least as much proactive care as most bread makers would in choosing the type of flour to use.  Do they want to bake with whole wheat flour, white whole wheat flour, white flour, enriched flour, bread flour, spelt flour, rye flour, pastry flour, cake flour, oat flour, self-rising flour, gluten-free flour, semolina flour, buckwheat flour, corn flour – phew! the list goes on…. Or did they want one group that met multiple categories? For fun, I named the flour, Miller’s All-purpose Flour, after the listed author of the book, Joe Miller.
