Sassy (Shoop)

This is the granddaughter of a friend of ours. She is the cutest little thing and grandpa is mighty proud of her. I painted this as a surprise gift for him – he didn’t expect it at all. Although all paintings have frustrating elements, this one was relatively straight-forward. I learned some important lessons from doing it, so that was its own reward. Below is the reference photo:
