Savior Praying

This is a reproduction of a painting by LDS artist, Del Parson. It is done by permission. It was in the 2023 Come, Follow Me manual and we both loved it. I started this for someone else but Merry said, “Oh, no! That one is mine!” She is happy with it – so that’s what counts.

My painting has more yellow so is closer to the original than the photo shows. For some reason, I just couldn’t get the yellow to come through on the photo. The unexpected challenge on this one was the color range. Especially when I first started, everything was light golden brown. It took a while to develop distinct colors.
