Patagonia (Ahlmer)

This is another in a series of missionaries that served in our home town. Even though his tie was in style, I had fun kidding him that it was a “sissy tie” (hence the title of the painting).. He was a fun guy and I tried to capture that personality. The reference photo was blurry but the one that everyone liked, so that is the one I painted.
