Stuffed Animals (Hansen)

These are two of the children of a young family from Church. I wanted to paint them because …well, they are just so darn cute! I had fun with the stuffed animals, too.
Below is the original. As you can see, I chose to have a few strands of her hair flow over the stuffed animal’s face. I claim – artistic license! Given the strange background of our messy living room, I turned it into an abstract form. It was my wife’s idea to add their names.

The children are holding the painting here. They had just come from a carnival and still had paint on their faces.
