The Pendant (Velez)

This young lady served in Lacey. She said she had always wanted a painting of herself so she was absolutely thrilled to get this one. The pendant around her neck was given to her by her father and was very important to her.

The reference photo was taken in our backyard but she wanted a background of a beach in California. I said the painting was a souvenir of her mission to Washington, not California, but she really wanted the ocean, so…. Below is a photo of her holding the painting
