Golden Sunshine (Blume)

This lovely young 20-year-old girl is the daughter of Jeff, the friend for whom I painted another portrait of his wife. That one was called “Graduation Memories” and is on this website. He liked the portrait of his wife enough to commission this new portrait of his daughter, Gabrielle.

Below is the reference photo of Gabi sitting in the glowing light. It was difficult to try to capture that glow without making it look like she had a bad sunburn! As you can see, it contains the shadow of the photographer. I obviously removed that shadow.
