“N” for Natalie (Lundberg)

This is another of our lovely sister missionaries. How full of life and joy and innocence they are! I hope my painting will be a precious memory of her experience here in our area for years to come.

Here is the reference photo, taken out on our back deck with her companion behind her. Lovely girls, both of them! She wanted peonies in the background and I had to go to the Internet to find out what a peony even was! The “N” necklace was important to her because she wore it in honor of her dear mother, Natalie, who has passed on. Below is a photo of her holding the finished painting.
