The Pendant (Stauffer)

This is missionary number 60 in my series of lovely young people who have served in our area. She said that she absolutely loved it, was shocked at how much it looked like her, and that it was the “kindest” gift that anyone had ever given her. (Always nice to be appreciated!)

I wanted to say that the texture of her dress was the hardest part, but it wasn’t. The hardest part was trying to catch the kindness shining in her eyes. I don’t know if I did that or not, but I certainly tried. Below is her holding the portrait.
