Joyous Savior (Ellis, Merry)

This is my Lord and Savior. I painted it as a gift for my son and dau-in-law but my wife pulled rank and claimed it !! She gets first claim, of course, so I am thinking about painting another one from the same ref photo.

Here is the reference photo. It is not at all my style – very loose and I am into hard lines and realism. It is also a watercolor, and I tried to render it in acrylics – hard to do. But I liked it a lot, so I painted it.
