Bushes (Drew)

This was a fun missionary. I thought it would match her personality to have the leaves poking outside the oval. I didn’t want to make the contrast of light as strong as in the reference photo (below).

I’m used to sister missionaries with long hair so it was interesting to paint one with shorter hair. Also, because of other paintings and projects, I had put this one off until I was surprised that she was unexpectedly transferred out of our area. I had to finish this one off in just one day.
