Bent Tree on a Mountain Trail

This painting was a Christmas gift for Mom and Dad Huntamer.  We were a young couple (25 and 23) and still in grad school. We had little money.  We thought paintings would be good and relatively inexpensive gifts to give.  So I picked up few paint brushes and a few paints and went to work after not having painted for a couple of years.  We were happy with how the mountain and the tree came out but I was disappointed with the bushes in the foreground.
