Blossoms (Familia)

Sometimes the likeness comes immediately, sometimes it requires a great deal of trial and error. The likeness of the lovely young “blossom” was quite difficult and I struggled a lot with this one. Also, she wanted more background blossoms than were on the trees so I tried to give her that. The photo of the painting doesn’t capture what the painting really looked like. It never does but especially in this case for some reason.) Here is the reference photo:

I decided not to include the branch shadows on her sleeve and face. Below is a photo of her holding the painting.
