Boss Man (Boss)

This missionary came to our house on the very first day of his mission. Only 18 years old, he had all the excitement and hopes one could wish for. I wanted to capture that drive as a souvenir of his great adventure.

If you think you see a halo around his head, it isn’t a holy halo (even though he is a spiritual young man). It shows where I photoshopped his face onto the leaves in front of our house. That was required to get the lighting correct.

He was very excited about getting a portrait and couldn’t wait “to show it to Mom!” Here he is holding the painting, which he was very pleased to have.
