“My Kingdom”

With a lull in portrait projects, I decided to paint this photograph of a car surveilling his kingdom. I have always liked this photo and thought it would be a fun challenge.

I think my kitty-cat is a little skinnier than the original photo. Below are three photos of the picture as it took form.
